Position Summary

The Production Associate will participate in the day-to-day production requirements working as part of a team for assembling an entire product or component of a product that ultimately satisfies our customers’ needs in both quality and service. Assemblers can perform multiple tasks conducted by the team in the assembly process and rotate through several of them rather than being assigned to a specific task on a permanent basis.

Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to:
•	Assemble components or products in an efficient and quality conscious manner following prescribed procedures
•	Always communicate with your team members in a tone and language that upholds the culture and core values of our
              Company
•	Understand that quality will always be a priority over quantity produced and act accordingly
•	Strive for continuous learning and develop knowledge, techniques and skills relevant to your position
•	Understand and use BlueLink ERP System for daily operations
•	Assist in working with new employees to ensure they achieve good quality and productivity levels
•	Communicate and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to develop profitable and sustainable
               relationships
•	Consolidate any and all partial skids wherever possible
•	Constantly look for opportunities to improve our processes and procedures, and enhance our communications and the quality
               of our products, customer service and our life at work, including ways to eliminate processes that waste time or have no value,
               and then report these opportunities to your manager
•	Continuously develop skills in all the tasks required in a particular production process
•	Gather and empty all trash
•	Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions
•	Keep work areas clean and organized
•	Maintain and promote organizational culture and values with all staff, customers, suppliers, partners and regulatory/official
               bodies based upon the vision developed by our C.E.O.
•	Manage personal time and productivity to efficiently and effectively perform according to your individual job description and
               report any concerns with meeting assigned deadlines or performing assigned duties to your direct manager
•	Monitor to ensure correct and accurate setup and checks and report any concerns to your manager or department leader
•	Notify your manager immediately if any discrepancies in component quantities are identified to maintain inventory accuracy
•	Read and understand the Employee Handbook sections outlined in the Handbook Receipt and Acknowledgement Form, as
               well as, contribute to the improvement of the handbook and document system, and support and promote the handbook and its
               policies
•	Report and/or notify manager of any potential shortages prior to running out of any component
•	Understand or be willing to learn the basics of how a beverage dispense operates and how it is assembled

Qualifications

•	OSSD plus 3 to 5 years of direct hands-on working experience.
•	Must be mechanically inclined, can read assembly instructions to to manually assemble component building end product.
•	Experience should border around wholesale/distribution and light assembly.
•	Proficient computer and data entry skills. Experience with ERP (BlueLink) system an asset
•	Ability to develop strong carrier relationships.
•	Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
•	Ability to adapt promptly to changes in working conditions with significant ability to resolve problems without delay.
•	Ability to refine and define work processes.
•	Possess transparent verbal and written communication skills.
•	Ability to work effectively with other departments.
•	Ability to effectively multi-task with a strong bias for action and positive results in self and others.

Working Conditions

Operating hours are 8 am – 5 pm Monday to Friday. On occasion the business may require the use of time outside of the stated operating hours.

All CBS employees will be required to be available for annual inventory which will take place at the end of October each year and will require after hours work and possible weekend work.

Physical requirements

Long periods of standing and bending are required.
From time to time the Production Associate may be required to lift items in excess of 35 lbs. This would be an infrequent/routine demand.

Full-Time
$16.00/hr - $17.50/hr, based on experience
