Job Description:
OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Software Development Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of the Software Development Team.  Working with the Resource Managers of Software Development, the Software Development Coordinator will assist with resource allocation planning and management of the Development Team.
With previous experience as a Senior Developer and knowledge of modern day programming concepts, the Software Development Coordinator will provide input into standards and processes that are critical to the success of our team.
Provides mentoring and coaching to the Development Team as instructed by the Resource Managers of Software Development.
Acts as the primary contact for the Development Team for small technical projects that affect our application environments (e.g. enterprise software upgrades, patches, database management, upgrades to Visual Studio and TFS)
Chair the monthly Integrator’s Meeting to ensure successful merging of our projects and applications, summarize meeting notes, and relay critical information back to the Resource Managers of Development.
Point of contact and escalation for our Toronto Development Team
QUALIFICATIONS:

University Degree in Computer Science
At least 5-6 years of complex business application design and programming experience
Requires a unique blend of design, development, technical and time management skills along with strong interpersonal and communication skills, a demonstrated ability to lead and a demonstrated proficiency for problem solving
Must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment
At least 5 years experience with C#, .NET, or equivalent
At least 5 years experience with relational databases (Oracle is preferred)
Experience using Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server 2013+
Experience using payroll and time tracking systems
Ability to communicate with developers of varying skills levels
Ability to breakdown complicated technical concepts to the correct level of detail depending on the audience
Thrives working in a team environment
15% travel to Windsor, Ontario
